As such, we are committed to remaining transparent and open with the measures we are taking to keep you and our team safe. While we follow all CDC guidelines and remain in contact with the Nantucket Board of Health, we have also implemented a Covid-19 Safety Program that goes far beyond standard measure.
It is crucial that our staff have the tools and training they need to keep themselves and our environment safe. In addition to training and educating staff on departmental procedures, they have also been educated and trained on our rigorous sanitation program and personal hygiene and health protocols. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Increased vigilance and frequency in sanitizing and cleaning, especially in public areas
- Cleaning and sanitizing public restrooms every half an hour.
- Cleaning and sanitizing all high-touch surfaces every hour
- Installed clear partitions at all reception desks.
- Strict practices in food handling and preparation.
Our team will be practicing social distancing and limiting face-to-face interactions. Each of guests will dictate how much or how little face-to-face engagement they prefer with our team members. We have implemented new programs in order to facilitate this practice:
- Luggage pick-up and drop-off on request.
- In-room magazines and newspapers available on request.
- Individually wrapped robes and slippers.
- QR-coded room service.
- Contactless payment options are available, yet not mandatory, through both Apple Pay and Google Wallet.
