In his free time, Desmond likes to ride his bike on the many bike paths the island has to offer. Desmond has family on the island and in the off season likes to spend his time traveling.

Tania says one of her favorite things about her job is meeting and working with people from different countries. She also enjoys seeing new island visitors, be it colleagues or guests, get captivated by the charm of Nantucket, just as she did many years ago. While Tania does not have any relatives on Nantucket, she considers herself very lucky to be able to count some close friends, who live here, as her island family. Her favorite thing to do on Nantucket is hang at the beach with friends anytime, a thick foggy day can be just as fun as the perfect beach day! In the winter months Tania always uses some of her down time to visit her family in New Zealand, many of which still live in the area she grew up in.
