Crafting Nantucket Traditions at the 1800 House

Nantucket Insider knows that fall is the perfect time of year to enhance your Nantucket stay with unique experiences at Nantucket Historical Association. Throughout the course of the year NHA offers a program of craft courses at the 1800 House, a restored 19th century historic property on Mill Street, Nantucket.

The courses are a fun way to tap into your own creative genius while learning of Nantucket's rich history in the decorative arts and crafts.

Lindsay Scouras of Nantucket Historical Association explains what makes the fall courses so appealing to visitors..."We love the Fall Series because the classes are quick and easy, some of our summer courses are a little more intensive. Also it's important to note that most of the classes are relatively inexpensive; $50 for NHA members, and $75 for nonmembers!".

Nantucket Insider loves the fact that many of the crafts from the fall courses would make fantastic holiday gifts for your friends and family who love Nantucket!
