TOPPER's exceptional dining experience is second to none, in part thanks to its elevated wine lists and unique pairings from our team of advanced and certified sommeliers. Few, however, know just how extensive the TOPPER's collection is – which includes some of the most exclusive wines in the world.
Eric, our general manager, has dug deep into the collection and is sharing the three wines he's most excited to introduce to guests this season. All three of these wines come from vineyards with the coveted Grand Cru distinction, granted by the French government. There are only 5 vineyards in Bourdeaux with this distinction.
Grands Echezeaux
This pinot noir is one of the best Burgundys in the world. Wine Spectator describes the wine as having both substance and depth, "boasting cherry, sandalwood and a green, leafy, youthful nose. It's packed with sweet fruit, very juicy and long, with a spice and licorice aftertaste.
Chambolle Musigny
Roumier is one of Eric's favorite producers and according to Wine Spectator, "it has a rich, round style with rose, raspberry and light vanilla flavors. Dense yet smooth, showing fine balance and refined tannins on the finish."
Chateau Mouton Rothschild
The vineyard has been owned by the famous Rothschild family since 1853. The family commissions an artist to design the packaging for each vintage– this one was created by Keith Haring.
